Last month, I released the Endpoint Guy Intune Toolkit—a simple graphical interface that brings my PowerShell scripts and tools for Microsoft Intune and Entra ID into one place. I’ve now released version 2026.10.26 on GitHub, with authentication improvements, interface updates, new device management features, and a brand-new module.
Authentication Improvements
The toolkit now prompts you to authenticate to Microsoft Graph as soon as it opens. This gets the connection established up front, so the toolkit is ready when you begin using its features.
Interface Improvements
The toolkit has received several interface updates. The Tools section has moved to the upper-right corner, creating more room for additional modules in future releases.
I’ve also added a progress bar for tasks that take time to complete. Instead of appearing frozen while data loads or an action runs, the toolkit now provides a clear visual indicator that work is still in progress.
Device Notes and Direct Intune Access
In the device search view, you can now select the Intune link to open the device’s page directly in Microsoft Intune. A new Notes button also lets you add notes to a device or review notes that were previously saved.
New Module: Device Prep Check
Version 2026.10.26 introduces Device Prep Check, a new module that helps determine whether a device is ready for Windows Autopilot provisioning. Search by serial number, and the module checks the key prerequisites:
• The hardware hash is imported into Intune
• The device is enabled in Entra ID
• The device does not already exist or have an active Intune enrollment
Configuration and Branding
You can configure the Endpoint Guy Intune Toolkit for your environment by running Run-Configure-Toolkit.bat or by editing ModuleConfig.psd1 manually. The updated configuration options let you add company branding and choose which modules to enable, making the toolkit easier to package and deploy to your users.
What’s Next: Toolkit Roadmap
I have much more planned for the toolkit. The ideas below are areas I’d like to explore next, but they are not guaranteed features or committed release dates.
Application Deployment Module
I’d like to add a module that lets you quickly assign a device to a specific application group, making it easier to deploy the applications that device needs.
Security Enhancements
I also plan to review the toolkit’s security settings and identify additional ways to strengthen it, including options such as remotely signing the PowerShell scripts.
Bulk Group Cleanup
Another planned module would let you bulk-remove users or endpoints from a security group, reducing the time required for large group cleanup tasks.
Share Your Feedback
If you have suggestions or features you’d like to see added to the toolkit, leave a comment below or reach out to me on LinkedIn. I’d love to hear what would make the toolkit more useful in your environment.
